If you are new to yoga and other holistic healing practices, please read these beginner tips:
I’m not flexible…Can I still do yoga? – Yes! You are a perfect candidate for yoga. Many think that you have to be flexible to begin yoga, but that's a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis in order to take tennis lessons. Come as you are, be present, and you will find that yoga will help you become more that just flexible. You will find agility, balance, strength, coordination, enhanced cardiovascular health, and overall well-being of body, mind and soul.
Remove your shoes upon entering the studio. This helps us keep things clean, and it honors traditional Eastern practices.
Help yourself to tea and snacks in the kitchen after class. Please clean-up after yourself.
If you sweat, bring a towel or rent one for $1.
Have fun, be yourself, and be mindful of your fellow yogis.
