Kathryn Budig grew up in both Lawrence, Kansas and in Princeton, New Jersey. She received her BA in English and Drama @ The University of Virginia where she discovered yoga. Her acting and new found love of yoga led her to Los Angeles where she completed the YogaWorks teacher training with Chuck Miller and her mentor, Maty Ezraty. With a strong background in Ashtanga, she was one of the youngest teachers when put on the schedule at Yogaworks. Her goal as a yogi and instructor grew into teaching creative sequences that make arm balances and inversions accessible to everyone in the room. Kathryn teaches a playful approach to the practice and wants every student who passes through her room to learn the importance and ease of laughter. Kathryn has been featured in publications such as Yoga Journal, Yogi Times, LA Metro, E! Entertainment, The Elephant, LA2DAY Magazine,'Y Yoga' a documentary film, numerous print ads and is a staff writer for Quarterlife.com as well as a Yogamates teacher/writer for Gaiam’s Yogamates.com and a Southern California Ambassador for Nike’s 2008/2009 yoga line. She is the co-founder with Jesse Schein of Poses for Paws, an organization dedicated towards raising money for animal shelters through yoga. Andrea Franchini began her study of the body at an early age as a dancer. This passion extended into college where she studied on the conservatory level. After a injury that lasted over a year with rehabilitation , she returned to dance with a new perspective incorporating structural healing. She continued her dance career for many years after collage dancing for various artists in Rodchester NY , Kingston Jamaica and Washington DC. Wanting to incorporate her love of movement, her strong discipline, culture and healing on a multidimensional level. Andrea found herself teaching yoga. In 2001 Andrea quickly developed a practice in Washington DC teaching Vinyasa Yoga at Tranquil Space, Flow Yoga Center ,Georgetown Yoga and a Private practice with a focus on Therapeutic and structural alignment.  She has studied Vinyasa Flow , Iyangar Yoga, Anusara and Therapeutic yoga,Kundilini Yoga in the parks of California and Qi Gong. Now based in California, Andrea established Soulmovement Project and along with teaching Yoga and offering bodywork, she utilizes these arts to fund raise for many non profits including Chandersky International and Anahata International. Andrea has been teaching movement for 14 years, Hatha yoga for 7. Andrea has led retreats in Costa Rica and Peru.   She is a guest teacher at Manzanita Village Dharma Center in Warner Springs ,CA and Flow Yoga Center In Washington, DC. Andrea spends much of her free time learning about Perumaculture and sustainability. Greatly inspired by her teachers,she fuses her intuition and the teachings of all the amazing work she has learned along the way from so many divine teachers.... too many to name.


Elizabeth Lloyd, RYT,  has been a yoga practitioner all her life. Yoga has always been a safe haven against the stresses of life for her. To her yoga is like a warm embrace from a loved one after a tough time, never judgmental, always embracing and forgiving. Elizabeth recently became a Hatha yoga instructor through Shakti MindBody Yoga Studio. Her classes emphasize the connectivity of the breath to movement. She also infuses meditation and mantras into her practice to elevate the body, the breath and the spirit. Off the mat she is studying Kundalini Yoga, and tries to live her life the yogic way - with grace and gratitude.


John Wubbenhorst (Facing East Productions) - John has the unique distinction of being a fluent virtuoso on both the Bansuri (bamboo flute) and Western flute. He is truly a World musician having played and studied Western classical and jazz as well as Eastern music in Europe and Asia. Today he performs in a variety of contexts and has played with many renowned musicians including Paul Horn, Victor Wooten, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Howard Levy, Paul McCandless, Jack DeJohnette and many others. He has performed at Universities and Festivals worldwide including The Smithsonian Institute, the German Embassy and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Rotterdam Conservatory in Holland; Naitauba, Fiji; Calcutta and Madras in India; Berlin, Germany; California State University and the Universities of Michigan, Nebraska and Kansas. ohn began his musical training in Norwalk Connecticut where he grew up. Beginning as a vocalist, John studied guitar and piano before establishing western flute as his main instrument by the time he was 14. John studied classical western flute with Kim Haley from Juilliard school of music and composition from Darius Brubeck. During the 1980's John moved to Washington DC where he began to study South Indian vocal music with Raju Soundararajan and Usha Char while he continued to play jazz and world music. In 1988 John began studies on the Bansuri (bamboo flute) with Debu Banerjee and North Indian music with Debu Chaudhuri. In 1990 John furthered his study on the Bansuri with Vijay Rhagav Rao. In 1992 John traveled to India for more studies of Indian music and it was there that he met Hariprasad Chaurasia. John did intensive studies with Hariprasad in India over a two year period and in 1995 enrolled in the Rotterdam world music program for North Indian music led by Hariprasad Chaurasia.


Samrat Kakkeri (Facing East Production) comes from a long line of musicians and has devoted his life to the art of Tabla. He inherited his talent from his father Pundit Mohan Rao Kakkeri who was also his first teacher. He is considered a child protégée who has received acclaim as an accomplished tabla player (drummer) from early age. He has performed both as a solo artist and accompanying artist all over India. He started his training at an early age of five with his father and later with the Tabla maestro late Pundit Nand Kumar. He strongly believes in the importance of Guru Bhakti (devotion) and Riyaz (practicing). His routine of rigorous practice has led to many awards both monetary and other. He is also trained in the unique art of tabla playing for Kathak style of classical dance from north India. He received this training from his father, retired professor of tabla at Thyagaraja School of Music & Dance. He provided live accompaniment with some prominent Kathak dancers including Urmila Nagar, Gopal Rao and Raghav Bhatt. He has also assisted with composing music for the Kathak ballets "Megh Dut" and "Panch Bhoot" as well as played Tabla for the recording.
